Has anyone dealt with this before?

Well about 2 weeks ago I noticed that Harley didn't seem his normal hyper self. He was still eating and relieving himself, but on our 3 mile weekend hikes he'd be panting by the end (which I thought was because of heat). A few days later I noticed that his feces were encased in slime (gross sorry). So, this weekend he started to have a little cough. It was almost like a hack, I thought he had something stuck in his throat because just prior he was chewing ...

We have a new addition to Prison Blues Pit Bulls!! He's called the Dookie Monster, registered name is BHK's All Eyes On Me. He's 10 weeks old, bred by Brickhouse Kennels and Larry Giza. Mom is BHK's Shortshot of Brandy, dad is BHK's Some Major Buddha. He is 100% Edge bloodlines, very laid back and sweet! I am glad he's our's!

And wouldn't you know it? My camera's batteries were dead. Normally when Reagan pulls, she does this slow waddle and looks oh-so-bored. Well yesterday, I was working her on the grass and right away she started digging in the ground with her head low, she looked like a little pro. I was ecstatic! I've never seen her work like that and the more and more excited I sound the more she dug, it was amazing. I wasn't planning on entering her this weekend but I am impressed, I really think she'll do good ...

Ryker now gets to added ADBA-pointed to his name - UWP CH 'PR' FrieFly CRGN Tell Me No Lies DNA-VIP CGC OFAca with a third place ribbon under honorable judge Rodger Scott!

And Lyric was ADBA pointed (thanks to judge Chico Perez) and took a 2nd place under judge Kate Greenwood. Woot!

Some of you may know me from other forums. I now live in the Panhandle of FL. Between my boyfriend and I we have 7 dogs. And we are keeping 3 from a litter he had. I am a Veterinary Technician and I work part time at a small pet supply store. We show our dogs in the ADBA and AADR. And we have tried weight pulling with Belle. She is 27pds and the most she has pulled is 1196pds.

Well... Saturday I took Harley & Sasha for their first lure coursing trial. The first time Harley had no clue... he just kept sniffing the line and the machine..lol.. Jaws for whatever reason turns into a total butthole when he pulls. He has this thing where he attacks the leash and if he gets it in his mouth, he decides the game is over and leaves the rail. He also bites at my husband when he hooks him up and it doesn;t help him that we get stressed out over how Jaws acts. Oddly, he loves to sled. Has anyone done this with their dogs yet? I know it is mostly for sight hounds. We have a club here that lets any breed join in. Tomorrow I entered my dogs in for the final trials! They have no practices since we haven't been able to go due to weather. I'd be cool if they could place and win a prize, but I'm more excited to just let them run free and Sasha is such a fast runner! I'm not sure if Harley will get the concept, trust me I racked my brains to think of how to use his rock as a lure...but ...
