| Great dogs do not come very often like great men, they are not quickly forgotten Red Baby, Tombstone, Dirty Mary and Bolio Are just a few that played a great solo
It is not by chance the quality of them They were all bred by enthusiastic men Carver, Maloney, and Patrick a few Who kept the breed tried and true
In the month February two thousand eight The henchmen of PIMA county brokedown Patrick's gate They were fooled into believing lies and tales They used as reasons to put Patrick in jail
The dog man's dogs he was robbed Seized by the brainless, cruel mob The dogs were guilty before process due They were murdered by thieves without any clue
Wasn't long ago common folk were free Laws were less tight and there was much more glee Folks didn't sweat so much to obey Many more smiles and laughter every day
How long can the sun hide its glow? Everything longs for its face to show The rocks are weeping, the wise man knows A beacon of the spring for the frozen and furrowed. |

| | Did the humane society return any of his dogs, last I heard Diane Jessup rescued two or three of them. |

| | I think they all were killed. I have one of his dogs that I bought from him in April of 2007, and she is a great house dog/pet. I think the only ones left are the ones he sold. I read somewhere that Jessup took a few. |

| | Good tribute that is nicely put. Poor dogs being put down just for the sake of being alive... |
